Hi Melissa! My name is Sue -- nice to meet you! Do you have any idea what excursions you might do? Who is sailing with you? Have you been to these ports? Do I ask enough questions?????![]()

I went to the private Island in Haiti years ago with RCCL, right after they started cruising to Haiti, then not much to it, but very pretty. Jamaica also, but in Ocho Rios, Cozumel and Grand Cayman I and my husband go about yearly to, but always seem to enjoy it. In 2006 we did the Turtle Farm excursion and Rum Factory, was loads of fun. Cozumel is good snorkeling and shopping. But so is Grand Cayman for snorkeling and hitting the streets. On this trip, I am sure we will snorkel, maybe even scuba dive in both places. In Jamaica(Montego Bay) will do maybe the canopy tour and shop or a good Island tour with shopping. I am traveling with husband and my sister who is a Doctor in need of some getaway and basically pleaded to go with us, but she is loads of fun, quite adventurous. Will let you know on ideas about what to do and shore excursions. We have cruised since 1993 on various lines and throughout the carribbean, and I can actually say that most of the excursions are really fun and enjoyable. When we shop we usually go after coffee in Jamaica(I love the Blue Mountain, certain rums) and in the Mexico area we buy silver, sometimes glassware. Haiti has some good Island artists(or least did years ago)..Sue, I am sure we can team up, we are all close in age. Husband and I are easy and laid back but do enjoy adventure and relaxing, etc. My sister always tries anything new, loves to read(so I see her reading some too, on board) I love to lay by deck some, then stroll, window shop and drink coffee or nice frozen drink and watch folks. Enjoy the spa services and all shows, including adult comedy. Love the bingo too. Anyway long winded here also...I know in Haiti on privare Island, we will do several things including the canopy from cliff, maybe rent jet skis or canoe and sit and relax also..

Melissa, are you still around? 49 days to go!
I found out over the summer that my friend's sister and a bunch (close to 100) of people she knows are also on this cruise. Also, a friend from another message board will be sailing with us too. Should be a fun time.
We're thinking of doing the Atlantis sub on our own in Cozumel, 7Mile Beach on our own in Grand Cayman, and booking the Essence of Montego Bay excursion thru the ship. I'm not getting a good vibe about Montego Bay at all. I had wanted to do Doctor's Cave Beach and Margaritaville, but my son isn't a big beach fan, so we'll just do the tour instead.
Hope everything is good with you!
