Thread: Legend of the Seas 11-4-2006

Due to work we had to switch to a different Cruise. I was scheduled to go on a 9 night but had to make it a 7 night.

Looking for others that will be joing us onboard. And anyone that can give me thoughts on the Legend if you have cruised this ship before.

Well last weekend the prices for flights jumped $60 pp. So I figured I would hold off until they dropped. Basically all week I was checking the prices and they were still $172 pp. Then I looked this morning and the flight home which is a non stop went to $119 pp. Yup I jumped on it. The flight is at 2:07 pm on the 11th which is perfect and then we will be home at 4:42 pm. There was a 10 am flight with a stop over in Atlanta but just in case there is a delay at the port getting to the airport by 9 am may be pushing it. On our last cruise we were curbside by 8:30 am. We were darn near first off as we are platinum members. But if any of you are previous cruisers you know the computers go down now and again and thus 10 am flight is possible but just in case.

Besides I like a nonstop.

Well just have to book a hotel. Looking at Hampton Inn at Rocky Point and Chase Hotel on Rocky Point. They both have shuttles from the Airport and also to the Port.

Has anyone stayed at either one of these places?

Well the cruise is just 9 days away

And in 8 days we will be in Tampa

The ship is in the middle of the atlantic somewhere

It is coming across from England

Anyone else sailing in 8 days?

The Legend has the best, most friendly crew on a RCCL ship IMO. (I used to contract for RCCL)
