Labadee is one of our favourite ports....it is a beach day

When you get onto the island.....the best place for relaxing is at Hideaway beach......keep walking straight on when you get to the island.....and then later go to the left and you will find Hideaway beach...you can rent float things etc there and it is near to where the ship serves up lunch...there are also toilets etc nearby.
You can have a nice walk to Dragons Breath....a small area of rocks etc where you can actually hear what sounds like a Dragon Breathing....a lovely spot.
There is a bar on the island which you use your seapass card to charge the drinks to your ship account...and if you have a soda card you can use that also there.

There are various water activities also available on Labadee, jet sking etc.

Be careful of the sun on Labadee...it can be very deceiving as to how hot it really is.

Alex and I are looking forward to going there again in November.
Hope you enjoy it as much as we did

We loved Labadee and Hideaway Beach is perfect. We had a nice view of the ship and not many people were there. The water was nice and calmer. Plus we did not see as many sea animals. Several people got stung by various sea creatures the day we were there but not one person was stung at Hideaway Beach. Plus we had a great view of our ship. This was by far our favorite port on the cruise.

another poster and I had quite a conversation about a new 'ride' (for want of a better term) now being offered at Labadee. We agreed it sounded a little scary, but terribly alluring.

Here's a link to the thread, if you're interested:
