Thanks Pete Looking forward to renting one of the bungalows with canarymoon and sue miller on our Official Group cruise in Oct. Our guys can't take a lot of sun.
We enjoyed Coco Cay and now I curious about Labadee since we will be going there in September.
What is it that Coco Cay has that Labadee does not?

Bliz (John) .... Actually, Labadee has more activities than CoCoCay! (Zip-lines, etc.) Also, it's larger!
We just liked the beaches in CoCoCay better -- gentle slope into the water without as many rocks -- closer places to rent floats -- bars much nearer the beach.
Labadee is an enjoyable beach day! You'll have a good time!

i'll be honest, I had no desire to goto Labadee until I read stuff here and heard from friends it was a great time. Nothing against Labadee, but Haiti is a bad bad place.
I will be a first timer soon too, going to try and do the Para-Sail and hope there is enough time left over for relax on the beach and get a tan...

Crazy thing is you won't even know you're in Haiti! No one is allowed OUT of the Labadee area! If you enjoy a day at the beach, you'll have a great time!

I agree with LuLu in that we like the beaches better at Coco Cay. Yes, there is a bit more to do at Labadee, if you're into doing alot during your day at the beach. There are still many things to do at Coco Cay, just not as many. But if you just enjoy a nice day at the beach, it's tough to beat Coco Cay. It's definitely bigger and in my opinion the place is prettier and the water nicer. But with that said, snorkeling is better at Labadee.
"snorkeling is better at Labadee". The only way I could understand that is if they didn't have any snorkeling anywhere else. Been there, done that and of all the places been snorkeling only one place else worse than there.
hmmmm. . .
Going to Labadee in early Dec and WILL be snorkeling. I will try to get some underwater pics!
I know, that at CocoCay, there are areas where the snorkeling is better than others... if you are willling to do some swimming, you can get to the coral reef there. Wonder if that's the case with Labadee?
