Advice: purchase in advance, it sells out (very limited capacity, especially if you are one of the mega ships). Also, if you purchase well in advance you get more choices of time slots; my kids got the first in the morning slot and they were on the island before anyone else. The ride also takes considerable time because they get some training and do a practice jump on a smaller line; our kids went at something like 9 before general tenders to the island were available; we went to the island at 11 and they were just getting ready to ride.

    Wow!
    That's a pretty long process!
I think I am leaning away from doing this, though.

That's what I am saying... It is long and seems like a pita for a few minutes of fun.. So, I decided to let the lovely lady pick something and she wants parasail.

Unless Royal cancels cruises from NJ to Caribbean I will have a second chance at this so... next time. Para-Sail seems like more fun, and less of the hiking, and learning and blah.. I am on vacation, my brain is being turned off!

The view is probably incredible, but this thought keeps running:

Does it really make good sense to pay someone $80 to help me do something that will probably scare the pudding out of me?

    I'm thinkin not -
I will let my more adventurous big brother do it and tell me about it afterwards.

That's a great idea... then it gives you an excuse to go back when you are jealous.

I am SO glad to hear you say that, JLT. I was telling brother about it a couple of days ago. He's been under the weather, and taking something new and different like this really gave him a lift. He's really looking forward to the possibility of doing it!

That is good to know as an alternitave to the para-sail I talked about in earlier posts to this thread..

The first day my girl and I care going to book everything. We decided to do that so it is one less thing to worry about before we go.. We already have our "shopping list", last thing we want to worry about is excursions.

If something is full, oh well.. Honestly a day at the beach sounds just as nice

    Yep -
I just LOVE the beach day at CocoCay, and am quite anxious to see how Labadee stacks up... Been trying to get to Labadee for what seems like forever!
