Have any of you been to Smathers Beach in Key West?

Our younger daughter was in Key West (non-cruise) for a week with friends this winter. While rather chilly as much of Florida was this year, she was there on a beautiful sunny day. Her pictures of Smathers Beach are pretty. Seems it's a public beach (close to the airport) where there's a place to buy beer, Cokes, snacks, etc. and rent beach chairs & water toys.

Often, folks are asking about a beach in Key West so thought some might find this to be of interest.
