The way I look at it, The Cats are now the rightfull owners of the Hemingway house. The Cats have domestic servants called "Caretakers" who consider it such an honor to work for The Cats, they do it for Free. Also in return for this honor, they pay for the food and other upkeep. The caretakers are so proud of the cats and the jobs they do for them, they invite others to visit. These people are called 'tourists'. To keep these poor loyal caretakers or their families from starving, these warm hearted tourists donate money to the caretakers. That's my version and I'm sticking to it!
