Don't worry! The Hemingway cats are safe and protected. If you go to Key West, pay them a visit.

Yes. All is well now. But, when this was happening, a LOT of our members signed the on-line petition.
I like to thing that CLF members did their part to save the Hemmingway cats, They're pretty special, and they are still there, just as Papa intended!
Seeing them was certainly the absolute highlight of our visit to Key West

No matter what else I do in Key West ... always have to go visit Hemingway House!

If all goes well -- we hope to get to Hemmingway's House this time. We haven't been there in years.

We are in Key West with 2 other ships and we don't get there until 11:30. After all -- it is a LONG cruise from Tampa to Key West!!

Since you don't get there first thing in the day, will the ship stay late enough to see one of those famous Key West sunsets?

I haven't. Has anyone else?

BTW - there is still a Cat Cam. I just watched it for seeral minutes without seeing a single cat. That does't necessarily mean anything, of course.

The cats are still there! I just saw 2 on the cat cam. They crossed the paved area and went up into the little bank on the right. Black & white kitties.
