Question Dinning question Jewel of the Seas 8 night cruise

    Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding dinning on Jewel of the Seas 8 night Eastern Caribbean cruise.

1.) What night are formal nights I know there will be two
2.) What night is the midnight buffet (Husband loves mid-night snacks)
3.) What night is caribbean night
4.) Do they have any other fun nights that I need to know about.

Hubby will be turning 50 on our cruise next January and depending what night these take place will decided what night to do chops.

Hope someone has a answer for me, posted on another list no one replied. So I came to the list with all the knowledgeable people.

    Thanks Christine

Christine...First off welcome to CLF. Hope you enjoy your time here as much as we all do.

I am looking at this intinerary in Feb 07 and hope someone has sailed her and can answer your questions.

I have come to the conclusion that between this list and the other list I asked this question on, that no one has done this cruise. I thought this list had knowlegeable people on it.

Jim, would consider a change except the Feb date is a WGIG group cruise and the 3rd week in Feb is what everyone voted for. So it can not be changed.

Christine...unfortunately it seems that none of us have taken this cruise yet, but soon, we will have some knowledge about it.

I do not think you can book alternative dining until you are on the ship, so you can ask about that right when you get on and then go make your reservations.

Usually, on the RCCL ships I have been on, they try to make formal nights on sea days.

I know that you can't book the specialty restaurants until you are on board, but I was hoping to know the days when the other stuff was to take place, as I did not want to miss them, When we get on board I want go reserve chops for the night of my husbands 50th birthday which will be on the Tuesday of our cruise. That is why I asked the question.

I found these 8 day Compasses that someone scanned in. Looks like you may need to print them to read them. I have not looked at them, so I hope they have some info for you.

    Looks like
    Day 2- formal
    day 5- caribbean
    day 6 - 50s/60s
    day 7 - formal
