Has anyone done the rafting on the White River? It says Calypso rafting .. anyone know what that means?

I've never heard of this Hanna, but here's a bit of info I found on the web. Hope it helps.

Calypso Rafting

Jump aboard a bamboo raft and glide down the pretty White River. Go solo, with a special friend or with the family. Your trusty raftsman will guide you on a 45-minute tour. This reputable company has been around for years. A rafting expedition for two will run about JMD 1050 (about US$25) and includes a stopover for a refreshing swim and drinks. If you're planning to bring a camera, you might do well to pick up a disposable. Call the office for schedule or to book a tour.

The Calypso rafting sounds much like the Marth Brae rafting trip. Just a different river. I loved the Marth Brae excursion. As Kathy B said, it is a long bus trip, but we had never seen Jamiaca before, so it added to our experience. The bus trip was along the coast and the guide gave us lots of info along the way. We saw the young kids going to school, places where hurricanes had left damage and lots of road work. LOL We enjoyed the drive.
