Hi Barry, a pleasant morning to you from the windy & cool Blue Mountains.

In Montego Bay you can get it for anywhere between US $22.00 and $25.00 per pound.

Now, please join me for a cup of freshly brewed Blue Mountain Coffee!!!

Gary: How nice of you to respond so quickly. $22 to $25 lb. is still not cheap but cheaper than here in the US. I quess it goes back to the best usually costs more than the rest. So.... How is the weather going to be there in a week or two. Looking forward to it. Are the two shops you mentioned hard to find? Only have a limited time shopping. And as I understand the peaberry is the best?

Thanks
Barry

Hi Barry,

For the past couple of days it has been very windy and cold (Jamaican cold) for you it would be cool - If I could describe it I wopuld say it has been very pleasant weather.

The Peaberry is indeed the best, it has a more refined taste than your regular beans.

What quantities are u looking to purchase?

The shops I mentioned are easy to find and they are even ladies there doing sample cup tasting of our coffee

Hi Gary - I have bought some JABLUM in Montego in town. I buy all my coffee directly from Cafe Britt in Costa Rica. In my opinion it's better tha Jamaican Blue and only $8 a bag. Particularly their Terrazu and Dark Roast. Welcome to CLF. You will find a friendly and helpful bunch of folks here. Costa Rica is probably not on your istinerary, but you can find info on CCafe Britt the internet.

Now that was just not nice! I have to sit here with this crappy Starbucks and you are enjoying my favorite coffee. Just not fair.

Such a prompt reply.... Quantity looking for? 5 lbs. maybe. Not a big purchase. I don't expect to clear out their entire stock. I looked at the weather forecast for Montego Bay and it said 79 F. today, not too bad. Too bad you don't have any shops by the cruise line terminals that stock your coffee for the ones who don't venture past there. I will be going to the two shops you had mentioned. I have also purchased from Cafe Brit a few times for the coffee that we supply for the employees at work. Although it is good, I don't think it is in the same class as Blue Mountain coffee. Well you are fortunate in the coffee sense in that you work at Jablum.

Starbucks burn the beans. Not to my taste. Hanna, where do you get your outfits from? (G)
