    Jamaica Golf

    18 Hole Championship Course

    TryAll Golf

An ideal time-tested mix of fun and challenge
With holes that kiss the shoreline and flirt with the edges of jungle ravines, Tryall Club features the most celebrated golf course in the Caribbean.
Tryall's 18-hole, par-72 championship course was designed by Ralph Plummer and has played host to such prestigious international events as the Johnnie Walker World Championship, last won here by Fred Couples in 1995.
The signature par-three 4th hole incorporates the natural challenges of the Caribbean Sea and the Flint River, while the memorable par-four 7th hole provides a dramatic tee-shot through the stone pillars of the historic aqueduct that feeds the adjacent waterwheel.
Tryall is famous for its caddies: lively, entertaining, experienced, dedicated -with an uncanny ability to track down wayward shots and to read the breaks on even the trickiest greens.

A small driving area between the Casuarina tree on the right and the Practice Range on the left (OB). Position off the tee is more important than length.

Water from tee to green sets up this hole. The prevailing wind can either help your shot or knock it down. Gauge it carefully.

This par five rewards accuracy. Keep your tee shot to the right, but not in the rough. Depending on your lie and the wind, you can either lay up or hit a big one past the troublesome pond. The green is small and well protected

Tryall's newest hole has become its Signature. No margin for error on the par three -- the Caribbean Sea to your left, Flint River in front and the wind usually blowing from left to right! The wind at the green will be different from what you feel on the tee. Par is well-earned and birdies are rare.

Your drive sets up a potential birdie. Aim at the palm tree in the center. Don't cut off too much on the left. The rough can be penal. The back and front centre pin positions make for challenging putts.

Drive between the two bunkers and set yourself up for an eagle. When the wind is at your back, the green is reachable in two.

An uphill par 4 which intimidates. From the blues you drive through the waterwheel arch while the white tees have a canopy of trees to funnel your shot through. Keep your shot to the green to the left side.

An elevated green, the wind at your back and a par (from the white tees) should be achievable. As a par four, however, some World Championship players have suffered triple bogies. The green is hard, fast and unforgiving.

The breathtaking view has caused many to lose their concentration! There is a ditch to the left and a tee shot to the right of the fairway will probably prevent you from reaching the green in regulation. The green is long and slopes back to front.
