We are looking for a nice beach in Ocho Rios!!! Want something that is fun, clean, and away from all the taxi cabs!!

Remember, you also want a SAFE beach!

Just my opinion ... but ... not so sure going to an isolated beach in Ocho Rios is a good idea. Most ships stopping in Ocho Rios will also be stopping in Grand Cayman which is much safer for this sort of thing ....

Lulu does have a good point.
Jamaica is one of those places . . . It's beautiful, BUT many folks advisel NOT going out and about there without a guide.
There have been incidents of muggings when someone strayed off the beaten path. Additionally, last I heard, there was still a problem in and around Ocho Rios with overly agressive wandering 'vendors.'

Being with a tour group (from the Ship, or a private tour company) seems to bypass both of the above mentioned problems.

We have used Pete Taylor Tours there, and had a wonderful experience through them. I will certainly use them again should we return any time soon!
