I've seen a few complaints here about the market you pass through on your way back down from the top of the falls. The vendors are pretty aggressive so if you want to avoid them, at the Y in the path, veer left. You miss them all and come out right at the bottom. Nobody will bother you except maybe a guy trying to sell you weed but they easily (too laid back, probably

) take no for an answer. Another thing some people aren't aware of, there are two ways up the falls. The main one is right up the middle and can get a little slippery but they will also take you up the left side where there is lots of things to hang onto so you don't fall. We enjoyed going there and it really cooled us off.

The falls are absolutely beautiful!

We booked a private tour (only five of us) and, with our guide's personal assistance, we glided right past the vendors. He was very protective of us!

They aren't a problem unless you want them to be. Do you know the Y I'm talking about? It's about halfway down and is paved like the main one. It takes you down next to the falls.

I honestly don't remember... we just followed along where O'neil took us.

I remember going through a tunnel, though.

We never went thru a tunnel.

We have never done this......but only been to Jamacia once..........worth the trip huh??

I think so, it's really pretty and it really cools you off being in the water. If you take an underwater camera, the guides take pictures of you, they are great pictures. I'll try and post some here.
