    Kusadasi, Turkey

I'm hoping that I'll get to stop here next year on my Med cruise.

I've heard a lot of good things about Kusadasi and the ruins at Ephesus.

Does anyone have any information about the port? Has anyone been to Ephesus? Do you have pictures to share? I've heard that the museum that houses the majority of the artifacts is not to be missed, is this true? Have you been to the house of the Virgin Mary? What else is there to do there?

I am hoping to go on a weeks holiday in June. If I get there I'll post more info.

Mike and I have just posted our review of our May 26 cruise - Venice to Rome on the Grand Princess. We visited Venice, Italy; Dubrovnik, Croatia; Corfu, Greece; Olympia, Greece; Athens, Greece; Mykonos, Greece; Kusadai (Ephesus), Greece; Rhodes, Greece; Santorini, Greece; Naples, Italy; and Rome, Italy. There are several hundred pictures within the review, and links to two photo albums with many more pictures.

If you are planning to go to Ephesus, you should visit the Terrace Houses. They are amazing! It's on Page 2 of our review, but you really should look at Photo Album # 2 also. The link is at the bottom of Page 2.

BTW, the review is on our website. It's too long for CLF.

Ephesus is beautiful. Just returned from Brilliance of the Seas in June. I would definitely book a private tour though. We used Sammy't Travel and was very happy but I see many others listed on the cruise boards. Must see the ruins, House of the Virgin Mary, and terrace houses. It was one of the most beautiful ports we visited.

    Debg -
You should submit that link to Sammy's travel to Cruise Resources, our cruising links directory, so people can easily find it in the future!
