Thread: Has anyone ever used bob's limos for a tour of Rome

has anyone ever used this service when visiting Rome. There is lots of info on the web but nothing really recent.

We haven't used them for a tour of Rome (We have used Rome in Limo for this) but did use for tour of Naples / Pompeii / Capri. I felt our guide was a little too casual, constantly greetings friends and acquaintances pretty much everywhere we went. He provided almost no commentary when we were in the car driving from one place to the next. We saw a lot that day and enjoyed the various sights but I did not feel that the guide was comparable to those we've had in the past with our private tours in port.

We used bobs tours in rome last year for a half day tour and it was wonderful. The guide made sure we saw the points that we had set aside plus many others. We saw more in half day than we did the year before in two days without a guide. He even invited all 10 of us to dinner at his home but unfortunately our ship was leaving port that afternoon. Don't be afraid to set your tour to meet y our needs. Have a wonderful time.

We ended up using Driver Guide Service in Rome and their service and guide were absolutely excellent, we had a great time with a great group and saw all that we wanted to see.

bob's limos are not reliable. They don't show up and then bill your credit card anyway. I even complained on tripadvisor, so they complained that i was badmouthing them, but it was only the truth. If you use them and are dissatisfied and complain, they will come after you.

Ps: Bob's limos often use their own employees to give them great ratings, so be careful with whom you rely upon.
