Question Civitavecchia Train Station

I am considering taking the train from Rome Termini to the port in Civitavecchia on the morning of my cruise. I am looking at the schedule on the Trenitalia website and it seem that there may be more than one station in Civitavecchia (?). When you type in “Civ” as the arrival location, the choices that come up are as follows:

Civitavecchia
Civitavecchia (Tutte le stazioni)
Civitavecchia (maritime station)
Civitavecchia (marittima)

Does anyone know the one that is a few block from the port? I'm thinking it is one of the first two, but I just want to make sure.

I would think it is one of the last two.

Marittima translates to marine.

It is the first one Civitavecchia

Yes the same question was asked on another forum

Civitavecchia = that's your station
Civitavecchia (Tutte le stazioni) = all stations
Civitavecchia (maritime station) = Ferry terminal
Civitavecchia (marittima) = Port
Civitavecchia viale della vittoria = Street near port entrance...

Warning before you get on the train
It is absolutely necessary that you validate your tickets prior to boarding the train. This is done by inserting the narrow end of your ticket into one of the yellow machines located next to, or at the end of the platform. You will hear its internal printer put at date/time stamp on the ticket. If a machine does not appear to work, simply go to another machine. The penalty for not having a ticket, or a validated ticket, is €25 plus the cost of the ticket. This is true of all buses in Italy also! A ticket, once validated, is good until midnight the date that it was validated on.

Hope this will help you, we also go in the morning to the port.

If the ship goes where you want to go when you want to go, then go.
