Hi Den,

I have never heard about "see Amalfi coast". I did a lot of research for when i was booking my Amalfi Coast tour. but never came across them.

I can recommend you a very professional guy which i booked called Francesco Marrapese. he does full day tours to the Amalfi Coast with Sorrento, Positano, Ravello,Pompeii.

He has a Mercedes Van for 4-6 people. He charges Euro 450,- for 4 persons and Euro 550,- for 6 including taxes, tolls, parking. Be aware that companies that appears to be cheaper might add this on to your final bill.
He has done touring for 10 years!! So knows all there is to know about the area.
Further he will taylor the tour to your spescifications.¨
He will take a credit card number to ensure the booking but you pay him cash towards the end of the tour. Should the ship cancel the port you dont pay anything!!
NEVER pay by creditcard online for a private tour. How easy would it be to get your money back if the port gets canceled??

hi imyren, thanks for your advice. you are right about francesco. we used him last year and were not disappointed. unfortunately despite having booked him again for this year almost 4 months ago he has now informed us he has double booked our date and will not be able to drive us. apparently this has happened to a few others i have read about

Its unfortunate when double bookings are made and I am sorry to hear about this.
I thought that if he, Francesco, could not drive himself he would get some of his friends or co workers to drive???
You could also try a company called AP tours.

Get your booking in early!!
They look like a big company and their rates also are a bit cheaper then Marrapese but not sure if they include tolls, taxes etc.

Would be interesting to hear what you have to say about AP Tours when you return from your cruise.
