Thanks guys. I've never been to Europe. I'm hoping my ship comes in soon though so I can afford it
well lefsa lady (LOL) I have to say that the ports we are visiting during our Celebrity cruise pretty much sums up the essence of the Med.
Venice (overnight)
Dubrovnik
Athens (Pireus)
Kusadasi (overnight)(this port could easily be changed to maybe Istanbul, which they do on other dates)
Naples (Amalfi coast, capri)
Rome (overnight)
Florence (and its not on a monday as many museums are closed) overnight would be perfect
Villefranche sur mer (for Nice, Monte carlo, Cannes)
Barcelona

hanna it's not THAT expensive, look for the deals , don't stick to a "american" cruise line . look at coming into l.g.w. and then a seperate flight to either barca/ rome /venice/palma. you'll be surprised what deals you can get.

This is some very lovely ports. I have been so fortunate to have been to all the Med ports several times so when in Malaga you should try some Tapas at "Las Candiles" (Calle Fresca. close to the cathedral) or "Casa Tadea" (Calle Thomas Echeverria 13) for authentic Andaluzian Tapas.

Thanks for the tip. We'll add this to our, "Things to do List." We don't really have plans for that port yet.
