Yea I will be doing this cruise on Wendesday. From Ft.Lauderdale to Accapulco! Should be fun!

We were on the Island Princess to Panama a few years ago and loved it. Up early to watch the ship enter the locks at about sunrise, got breakfast, and then got off the ship once it anchored in the lake. Bused to a dock where we got on a boat that took us through the rest of the canal into the Pacific, then bused back to the ship which had gone out of the lake again. A great way to see the canal up close. The Island is a great ship and we enjoyed the whole experience.

We were on the Island for its previous itinerary (Hawaii) and we really liked the ship.

Nice to hear great things about Panama and the Island Princess! I have done the Panama Canal twice already, once on a HAL ship and once with Celebrity. I probably won't get up to see the locks but who knows?!?

BTW Cruisin' Chick that avatar is super cool. I really like that, I would steal it but

Have just returned from Acapulco to Fort Lauderdale cruise aboard the Coral Princess, the sister ship of the Island. A great cruise - I did a small write-up in Member's Reviews.
