General Questions about the Island Princess!

Woooo just 25 days til my cruise aboard the Island Princess(ignore my sig). I just have some general questions about the ship and Princess too. I have never been aboard a Princess ship but look forward to it very much.

    1. Is their sushi? Like a bar or just a certain time when they serve it? Also what is the cost involved?

    2. Are the basketball courts nice?

    3. How is the Kids Club for Teens?

    4. How is the evening entertainment compared to other cruise lines?

All I got right now but I am sure I will have more questions later.

    Thanks,
    Ben

Oh, gosh. We were on the Island three years ago (the Hanukkah/Christmas/NY cruise) but I can't really answer those questions. I'm not into sushi. Hubby had it in the Horizon Court during lunch, I think. It was free. But not sure how it is now.

We didn't use the baskeball courts, just the gym and the walking/jogging track.

Our girl was all of 8 then, so she was in the middle group.

We did enjoy the entertainment. But I can't compare it to other cruiselines as we only been on Carnival and Princess. We saw a comic guitarist (hubby is a guitarist and he thought the guy was pretty good) and some of the lounge acts. There was a production show featuring broadway hit songs that we saw, but the other ones we've seen on the cruise before.

1/I'm not sure if they've started the Caribe Cafe on the Island, but on the Emerald the sushi was part of the Caribe Cafe buffet. No extra charge.

2/ Not sure, don't play basketball

    3/No idea

4/We've always found the Princess entertainment to be quite well done, at least the big production numbers.
