Island Princess

Can anyone tell me what fun there is to be had?

Is there anything like Sky Walkers, or Movies Under the Stars?

I'll start by saying there's fun on every Princess ship. However, the Island Princess and her sister, Coral Princess do not have Movies Under The Stars, nor the Sky walkers Night Club.

For entertainment on this ship, you have the Explorer's Lounge(night club style performances), Wheelhouse Bar, Crooners Bar, Churchill Lounge, Universe Lounge, Princess Theater, and the Princess Casino. There are many other activities to enjoy such as the Pools, Spa, Gym, Sauna, Scholarship at Sea, etc.

Like Ken says, no MUTS nor Skywalkers. Churchill's is a cigar bar, so unless you're a smoker, you'll want to stay away from that (unfortunately, if you're not a smoker, it's located right on the grand atrium).

Right by Churchills on the Promenade deck is Crooners Bar, which is shaped like a obtuse triangle. If you have a meet and greet roll call, it may be held there (or the Wheelhouse). Trivia matches are often there (or the Wheelhouse).

The art gallery is right next to the wedding chapel, which is where many of the Scholarship classes are held.

There was plenty of live music in various lounges, the Bayou Cafe, Wheelhouse...hopefully, they still have the musicians. We had the Captain's Circle party (the one for returning passengers) in the Universe Lounge, which I think was on the deck below the Promenade. The Explorer's Lounge had many activities too.

Didn't check out the casino.

We cruised on the Island to Panama and it was a most enjoyable 10 days. Great ship, and we met our favourite waiter of all time on her. As mentioned, no MUTS or Skywalkers, but still lots of things to do. You'll enjoy her.
