You're RIGHT, Char! We're making it into a B2B so we can cruise in and out of Ft.Lauderdale for a total of 20 days.

Any chance you & Bob would possibly/wishfully consider doing this?

LuLu...ya never know! Right now we are concentrating on finding an Alaska cruise for September. Once we get that settled we will look to see what else we want to do. I DO like the idea of not having that cross country flight.

Hear you, Char! That's our main reason for taking this one.

It's really hard to find cruises out of Ft.Lauderdale that can be made into a B2B that include more than just the Caribbean.

We don't really care about doing the Panama Canal again ... but the itinerary looks interesting and has port stops in several places we've never been -- Puntarenas, Costa Rica ... San Juan del Sur, Nicaraga ... Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala ... and Huatulco, Mexico.

Certainly hope you and The Bobster will consider it!

Is this the first time you're going on the Island?

Yes, Patty, it'll be our first time on Island.

Know you've been and actually your postive comments on Island were a bigger factor than you might realize on why we booked and think we'll like the ship!

Please, if you think of anything at all we need to know about Island, let us know ... for better or worse....

If you have some questions, hopefully I'll remember. I don't recall hearing anyone disappointed in the actual ship. Seems to be a good size for most people.

LuLu, my friend Jan did Alaska on the Island and loved that ship (that was the year I did the Baltic without her).
