Do you have any questions about the ship? maybe I can answer them.

We had an inside cabin on the Caribe deck, midships. Hubby prefers to book insides (likes dark rooms to sleep in) and we don't want to spend money on a balcony and risk getting smoked out. So can't speak on the size of balconies.

We liked the ship, not too small (we like ships about 95,000 to 115,000 gt). Our one complaint about the layout was that there was often clouds of smoke in the grand atrium due to the cigar lounge and a bar that allowed smoking being on the Promenade deck in the grand atrium. Those two were in a better location, as far as we were concerned, on the Sapphire.

I don't remember the name of our waitstaff, but we've had better on other ships. I remember Mario was our steward, but he could be on another ship by now.

It was the ship doing the Hawaiian cruise at the time. We haven't been on a PC cruise.

    Hi,

I am new at answering to a blog.
My husband and I are on the cruise following yours. We set sail on 04/03/09. I hope you have a great time.
We have been on the Coral Princess, the sister ship to the Island Princess and we loved the size of the ship and the layout. We loved the Crooners lounge. Please have a great trip. We just missed your cruise by one voyage. Enjoy!!!
