I'm a Board Hopper!

Thanks to BlazerBoy, I’m also hopping over to this board. I wasn’t a night owl, but I do know BB and he’s A-1 in my book.



To introduce myself, my name is Carol and my husband is Mike. We live in southeastern Florida, near the ports of Ft. Lauderdale and Miami. That, of course, makes for easy cruising!



So far, we have been on 15 cruises, and have just returned from the Diamond Princess’ New Zealand to Australia cruise. It was fabulous! We will be writing a review with pictures for our website at www.thepreismans.com . We will also post a link to our EasyShare photo album with more pictures, as we have done for our other reviews.



I was a teacher, but am now “retired”. Mike still works, so that does cut into our free time for cruising; but we still manage a couple a year. Needless to say, we love travel, especially cruising. Mike’s other hobbies are photography and scuba diving. I restore/edit photos, cook, and play on the cruise boards. Between us, we have 4 sons, 3 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, and 2 cats.

Carol, welcome to CLF!!! I have seen your pictures before, and I think I used some of them to try to convince my husband to take a cruise - I forget which itinerary.

I see you have used Globus, and I am very interested in what you thought of them. We will be taking a river cruise thru Eastern Europe this summer, and the ship is owned and/or managed by Globus.

Take a look around, tell us what you think, (yes even if you think we need to change something), and have a great time on the SS CLF.

Thanks for the good words on the pictures. Did you also check out the photo albums?

We loved Globus. Both tours were well planned and well managed by Globus. I do highly recommend them. In Greece we had a fabulous tour guide. In Italy the one we had wasn't quite as professional. When I mentioned it to Globus in a follow up letter, I was immediately contacted for details and action was taken accordingly. I would use them again.

Hi Carol! Glad you found us! Say hi to Mike. How is your family doing? Are some of them still displaced from NO?

Look forward to reading your review, that is one of my dream trips! Joel and I just returned from Maui and that was truly one of my favorites. I'm already planning on getting back there next year. That's of course if we can fit it in between our cruises!
