Welcome Cindy... ....and wow...first cruise......are you all packed....repacked...and packed again....are you having trouble sleeping....are you continually talking about your cruise.....do your family look at you as if you have lost the plot.......well welcome to cruising ...dont worry it can only get better.....although to keep healthy and sane...you need to always have another cruise booked

Thank you. The exciting part is that it's for our honey moom as I call it. Western Caribbean to include Grand Cayman, Roatan, Belize, and Costa Maya, Then to the everglades for a few days. We know someone down there that used to a tour guide for ten years. Do you know anything about if shore Excursions are better to purchase once at the destination or is it better to book in advance with the cruise?

Cindy...First the cruise excursions will be more expensive, than if you book your own. Having said that, since it is your first cruise, I would still book them thru the cruise line and do it on line to assure that it does not fill up. Booking thru the cruise line assures you that the ship will not leave without you should the excursion return late. I book mine thru the cruise line and like having my tickets in hand in the cabin. But that is just me.

I would suggest asking this in the general cruise questions section, as you will get more answers there.
