Lightbulb grandeur of the seas crash

I was on the cruise that week, what an experience. We were all shocked when we got off the ship and saw the damage since we were not informed before unboarding. The staff and crew were wonderful and very accomodating. Many mixed emotions on board many people with small children left by Fri. The ship was like a ghost town and alot less kids. RC brought in a comedian Sat. and his skit was all about us being shipwrecked and we LOAO. All in all in was very exciting and nerveracking at the same time. Very disappointed when we heard Costa Maya was shut down and we were stranded. The first day there was a nice pool with a swim up bar the next day it was empty. So alot of time was spent on the boat drinking foo-foo drinks good thing we got a credit. I did feel bad for the crew members that were going home and delaying there long needed breaks. Many people don't realize the long hours and boring life they have on board. I would go on a cruise again just not anytime soon and not to Mexico. I really enjoyed the pictures especially since everyone was blocking the damage by the time we got off the ship.

Good morning Smartbuyer!! Thnks for telling us how it was on the ship. I was very surprised they shut down Costa Maya!! They lost the chance to make extra money!! Not a good business move!! Welcome to CLF!!
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

Sorry it took so long to come over and welcome you. It took a long time before RCCL made a public announcement about the crash, and I'm not sure it ever made the news, so first hand reports are very important. Glad I got to read yours.
