    Smile Hi there cruise buddies

    Hi there, also just found this site by accident so looking forward to hearing what others have to say. My husband and I did our first cruise in October this year. It was the best holiday ever and cannot wait to go on another. It was the Pacific Sun and we sailed to five islands in the Pacific. Needless to say it was awesome. Met some really lovely fellow cruisers and as I say want to do it all again soon.

    Sure, it was great. The five islands were Noumea, Ouvea, Port Vila, Mystery Island and Isle of Pines. I think my favourite was Isle of Pines as snorkeling around "The Rock" was just beautiful. I had only started swimming a few months ago so the snorkeling on the islands was absolutely amazing for me. Loved every minute! Port Vila (Vanuatu) was great for duty free shopping - had a ball and spent too much money there. Noumea (New Caledonia) was also good for shopping but spent most of the time there on the beach. The locals at all these islands are so happy and peaceful - it just seems like a world away from our rat race.

    It sounds like you had an amazing cruise.

    Where is Isle of Pines and Mystery Island. I have never heard of either, but they both sound amazing. The only reason I even have an inkling of where you are talking about is because Vanuatu was featured on one Season of Survivor, otherwise I would be so clueless as to what part of the world we were talking about!
