    Newbie Cruiser

Hey guys! Well im here because Im a first time cruiser. I came here to ask what i should pack how much money i should bring and what excursions to do, but by the looks of things I can probably get the answers to my questions from previous threads. Im going on the Royal Carribean Legends of the sea out of Tampa, FL on December 10, 2005. If anyone has any tips for me or anything please let me know. I look forward to interacting and sharing my experiences. Take care.

Hi Jared!! Welcome to CLF!!!WE will be more than happy to answer any questions you have!! Congratulations on your first cruise!! The first is always the best, and will get you hooked on cruising!! What excursions you take will depend on what you enjoy doing, and what your ports offer. We have several good packing lists, and as to cash, bring lots of small bills for tipping porters, room service, and cabs. My #1 suggestion to new cruisers is always bring a good attitude, nothing is perfect, and relax on your first cruise to get to know all about the cruising experience, there will be others to do activities that you missed!! Enjoy, and interact with the crew. They are there to give you the best cruise possible, and some are treated badly. They appreciate friendly passengers!!
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

Our port of calls are: Grand Cayman, Costa Maya, Belize City, Cozumel. I've looked at the opportunities that each offers, but was wondering if anyone has any experience in these places and can recommend anything

Hi Jared and welcome to CLF! Enjoy your cruise!

Island drive and visit to Hell and the Turtle Farm is pretty good on Grand Cayman. Cozumel is still recovering from the hurricane so not sure what's up and running there! They have a pretty cool focloric show if you're into that type of thing! Going to Costa Maya and Belize for the first time ourselves in late DEC

    Take care!

Can't seem to find the packing list that you mention. Sorry, can you point me in the right direction. Other than that things are going great, I've been exploring the site a lot and have found a lot of useful information. Thanks again to all of you.
