SHOCK - I'm back. After what, 4 yrs?

    It's me - Terilynn.

I'm back on the boards so I can research our next cruise and be prepared. The last 4 yrs have been rough - lost the remaining parents, one each year.

I've also been heavily involved in the Star Trek community and working for three different websites! Ca-razy!

But we're SO ready to travel again and to see what everyone else has been up to.

I see that Char and Hanna are still here though! Just saw that Georgia Girl is here too!

    Looking froward to talking cruises!

I've been up to crazy things. Working like crazy, but also getting DEEPLY involved in the Star Trek and gaming communities. (yeah, go fig!) I currently co-host two podcasts, I'm the editor of a science fiction website and I'm on the staff of a subsidiary of AOL to report on a Star Trek-focused computer game. (Yes, all on TOP of my "real" job!)

Allen and I took two Trek themed cruises, one in 2009 and one in 2010, and they were fun, but short. However we did meet a lot of great people.

Two of those couples and us have decided to go on another NON-Trek cruise, so we've all booked the 12-1-12 Silhouette Transatlantic!

I need to learn about the ports and knew I could come in and say hi.

It's good too see you both.

Nealberk will love to talk science fiction with you!!

You will love the Silhouette! We have sailed on her 3 sister ships, Solstice, Equinox and Eclipse. In fact, we have another Equinox sailing for March...just 75 days away! AquaClass is absolutely fabulous with Blu as the exclusive restaurant for guests in AQ.

Hey! I am still here, too! And they put me in charge. Isn't that weird?

Not so much a Trekkie as a Trecker (Treckers have real lives). Char is right, I am a bit of a Science Fiction person. Deb and I have over 5000 science fiction paperbacks for starters......

OMG - really. One of my podcasts is a focus on Trek lit. We've had a ball meeting most of the authors and interviewing them.

back! I'm guessing you probably ran into this one girl who I believe is into heavy duty Star Trek (met her through the soap opera fandom world in the late 80s) named Janice (not pronounced the way it looks).

Oh yes - I've met her on many occasions. She's a regular at a lot of small events. I actually met her on a cruise.

And thanks for the welcome back!
