has any one done the qld coast cruise before and what was it like?

I haven't cruised the coast of Qld, but I have been to most of the ports. They really are beautiful and I wanted to spend more time in all of them! They are all quiet different, but have a beautiful relaxed feel with amazing highlights in all of them. Of course the Great Barrier Reef is a massive feature and you can't go past the Daintree rainforest. There are so many great tours in the area including the Skyrail, brilliant wildlife tours, snorkelling, rainforest tours of if you just want to wander the ports they are all relatively close to town (except for Yorky's Knob).

I'm guessing this is a cruise in the Australian area.

For Queensland - state of Australia and includes ports such as Brisbane, Townsville, Cairns, Port Douglas and Yorky's Knob

Thanks, Hope! I have learned various abbreviation over the years from my many jobs, but there are still a heck of a lot more to go and new ones invented all the time.

I love that the big airline down there QANTAS is itself an abbreviation (which is why there is no U in it)
