Thread: First time cruise!

My children gave us a awesome 7 day Caribbean Cruise for our anniversary. We leave Jan 8 on the Carnival Legend. We have a extended balcony cabin in the forward part of the ship. I am extremely nervous about being on a ship. I am going to get sea sick, because of my cabin location? Can anyone give me any helpful tips on what to do once arriving in Tampa,Fl. They did purchase transfers to and from. I have looked all over and asked the customer service, the steps. It's hard to find information. What to do and how to make boarding easier for us. I like to have ALOT of information before I do anything. Since this a gift, I didn't have time to research..
We did book a excursion in one port via carnival. We aren't to much on tours, we get bored very easily..lol

What a great gift! Try going to the Carnival Forum here on CLF and asking any questions you have on Carnival! Many here do cruise on Carnival and will be more than happy to answer them for you!

Can't really help you with port/boarding info, but since your cabin is Forward, there will most likely be some motion depending on the waves/weather. To be sure not to get sick, take some Dramamine or Ginger Pills.
