    Hello from San Francisco

San Francisco is of neighborhoods. I live in Noe Valley. Good to be here. Got questions about the city? The San Francisco section of the forum is the place to get answers. Peace - ed

Ed, I'm not familiar with Noe Valley. In relationship to San Francisco, where is it?

Ah ha. Sorry about that oversight

When looking at a map of the city/county. Roughly 7 miles x 7 miles. Noe Valley is just about in the center. Grand View and 22nd Street (the geographic center of the city, is near the Northwest corner of the neighborhood. It is the western edge of the Mission district, East of Twin Peaks South of the Castro and North of Glen Park.

I guess you joined a few years ago, but it'll be good to have someone knowledgeable about that city.

Have not been to San Francisco in over 30 years but I fell in love with it when I used to live in Vallejo. The city is magical and beautiful- at least it was when I lived there. I spent a lot of time in North Beach at Captain Video. It was one of the first video stores back in the 70's and I would go down there every other week to get movies (their prices were a lot better than ANYWHERE else)

I first came to the city in '61 via the US Navy and Radar school at Treasure Island. After the Navy, Rose and I settled in Noe Valley. There is a small but ver active video store nearby.

I have not posted for awhile. Busy with the grandkids. The youngest nearby is now a junior in high school.

I will try to answer/find answers for any questions you may have about the city. I do love the city.

And we do want to share it with you.
