    new member from So. Cal.

    Hi everyone...
    We are Art and Kathy from Oceanside, CA (just north of San Diego),

    We have been cruising since 1978 (the old Starward).

    Next BIG cruise is B2B 2/19/12 & 3/6/12 (34 days) around Australia and New Zealand (with a side trip to Bali!).

    We are retired and enjoy traveling, reading, grandkids, and especially "etc."!

    We'll be on the Radiance. We've been on it 3 times before and love most things about it, but we chose this trip primarily for the great itinerary - completely around Australia, a quick side trip to Bali, then on to New Zealand, through the fjords, several more NZ stops, then back to Sydney. The Radiance will have 3 weeks in drydock this May, so hopefully she'll be in great shape! This is our first "bucket list" trip - we're counting the days!

    And a wonderful bucket list cruise it is!

    Radiance is my favorite RCI ship! The last time we were on her was last May for an Alaska cruise...I know she will be in great shape for you!

    from the NW corner of LA county. One of the cruises on our dream list is NZ to Australia. I looked at the airfare a couple of years ago and found it higher than the cruise but it was for the third week of December, when it's probably the highest.
