Thread: Hi Yawl from Alabama

Well I just found this site.. I was lurking on CC on the HAL board and saw a thread about some discussion about this site so I drove over here for a visit. Ain't life funny how I discovered this site on another site which was complaining about this site ?
I mainly lurk over there with an occasional post and do find a lot of good information there but I am tired of reading the confrontation debates from people with attitudes and agendas who think the fate of the free world rest on their latest pontifications.
I will be checking out the information here and occasionally jumping in if it seems something can be added to the discussion.
I was surprised to see a number of familiar names here. In particular I saw the name of Sue Miller who I thought was on the Mt Rushmore of CC. There are even threads named after her in FloatAway lounge including one of my favorites which was a joke thread. I have seen many of her " LMAO " or " Floor " responses to jokes.
Anyway we began cruising in 1992 and have sailed on Royal Caribbean four times with the last being in April 2004 on the Serenade. We switched to Celebrity in April 2005 and overall it was our best cruise to date which isn't a put down of Royal Caribbean as I have always enjoyed their product. The Celebrity experience was a little quieter and the food seemed somewhat better IMHO.
Well, I have got to start checking out the neighborhood.

If you go to our Off Topic area, so will see a lot of threads here similar to those on the Floataway Lounge. And you can see Sue Miller's posts every morning in the Morning Coffee Spot (except she's about to go on a cruise!). She is one of our stewards, so you will see her elsewhere too, but that one is a sure bet.

Hi Tide Pride, to CLF!!! Good to see your here!!! There several cruise forum sites but these 2 are my favorites for info! This one you can actually have some fun on, I call it the flipside ...ie the lighter side hehehe
