I am Andrea and I am going on my first cruise next month on my own. Any tips so I can make the most of my holiday.

One tip....relax & enjoy yourself! Do read the brochure/website about your chosen ship to familiarise yourself with how everything works. Dining, dress, how to pay for stuff can all lead to confusion in the unprepared. The ship is just really a nice big hotel that moves!

I also agree with John! Relax and enjoy your cruise. Let the small stuff roll off your back (and it's all small stuff) and have fun. It is what you make it and if you think positive about your experience, you'll have a wonderful time.
