Thread: A newbie and her mom from the great white north

Hello everybody!

This is my (44) first serious cruise and my mom's (76) third. We are on the Ruby Princess Grand Mediterranean leaving in two weeks (I wish I had looked for resources like this site earlier!) and we'd like to find some folks who might want to share tours in Rome, Naples, Ephesus and Istanbul (and perhaps other ports). Also, would love to have any advice you seasoned travelers can provide about the ship and the tours.

I was on the Ruby Princess for a Caribbean cruise last November. She is a wonderful ship I wrote a trip report about it, but I was feeling a little under the weather so there aren't as many photos of the ship as I normally would have taken. There is a link to that report in my signature.
