Being a first time cruiser I offer you a bit of advice. The Allure and Oasis are by no means boats. The crew will definitely take offense at their ship being called a boat.

    Thanks in advance!

    Welcome aboard, Heather.

The Oasis and Allure are going to offer something for everyone in your age ranges.

Some folks tend to shy away from the larger ships, simply because they enjoy a smaller, more personal cruise...However the reviews from members concerning the Oasis have been AWESOME! Very little crowding issues, tons of stuff to do (some lines) and great entertainment and food.

Is there a particular cruise or destination you and the family are considering?

    Heather:

And, be forewarned! You must never, ever call a cruise ship a boat! According to some, a boat is a vessel that may/can be carried aboard a ship!

You won't be thrown overboard, but it is very wise to forget that you even know the word "boat!"

to CLF! Ah, the first cruise. I hope you look around, ask plenty of questions and you'll be prepared by the time you board the ship.

And in the meantime, you'll get lots of ideas for your second cruise.

Reggie is right. They are not boats. Floating islands, mega resorts, theme parks on the water, or cruise ships all would apply, but not boats.

Seriously, we have lots of information on both ships. What would you like to know?

If I don't know the answer I'm fairly certain I can find it.
