Check out this thread regarding Thomson Dream, and keep in mind that they just spent 5 million pounds on upgrading the ship.

This 5 million will not take place now until Oct, it was supposed to have taken place in march. Now there is rumors that they are only going to replace the dreaded plumbing.

I was sold, what was the words: A New 5* luxery added to there fleet.
To Celebrate my 40th birthday and 20th wedding aniversary, what better way to celebrate.

The ship is NOT 5* should never had customers on board.
There was major issues with sewage smell for the whole two weeks, major plumbing problems.
Our cabin had flooded the night before as on entry the carpet was wet through, as i entered the cabin and realized this was not the ship i paid for, i rang my travel agent, they advised to take photos, ask for a room change and try and enjoy my holiday.
I dont think i will cruise again, first and last.
My comment is if you have booked keep an eye on theses reviews and if it dos'nt get any better than ask for a transfer to another ship or a hotel.
It was as bad as they say.

Oh no...so sorry to hear that you've not enjoyed your first cruise experience. As you noted, this ship has been experiencing some onboard issue and seemingly is trying to work out the kinks, so to speak.

What I want to do is make an attempt to persuade you to poke around this site, research some of the other ships leaving from your accessible regions and consider selecting a new ship or line....there are simply so many options and so many top-shelf experience to be had. I'd hate to see you not take advantage of them, at least one more time, and then make a decision about your thoughts on cruising. Admittedly, its simply not for everyone....but I can sense you really wanted to enjoy the cruise.

Is the review of which you speak the post above, or have you posted it somewhere else? Looked in reviews and the Thompson dream forums.

Many thanks for your thoughts, positive or negative. Its honest and up-front information sharing that allow the members of this site to make informed decisions.

    Cheers.

If I don't know the answer I'm fairly certain I can find it.
