which is better?

Hi All

I'm sure some of you will be able to point me in the right direction, we have cruised twice with Royal Caribbean and had a great time on both cruises, we definately got the bug for cruising. We are planning on a nine day cruise next June and cant decide whether to go on Explorer of the Seas or Caribbean Princess, the Princess dates suit us better. Would be great to hear from all you experts

Hi I am biased and love Princess BUT will compare for you. I have sailed both lines 4 times each. Both ships are beautiful, Princess elegant but understated rather than bells and whistles. Princess is a tad quieter, and has a full range of passengers, children to the elderly, but you will find few complainers, it has a mellow feel, very friendly, and lots of activities to choose from. Or not There is a movie screen at the main pool, and an aft to die for. An adult pool, bar, and the buffet on both sides of the ship that is open 24/7, where RC has buffets for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but close in between. Good luck on your decision and have a great cruise

My Signature Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

Past Cruises Most people walk into and out of your life . . . but FRIENDS leave footprints in your heart

The Exlorer is larger then the Princess ship and as Sue mentioned its more bells and whistles. If you want a Promenade with shops and bars inside the ship, if a ice skating rink will wow you then the Explorer of the seas is for you. The atmosphere is more upbeat and maybe more "Las Vegas" then the more refined Princess ships.
You will have a large selection of restaurants; the main dining room, the Windjammer buffet cafe, Portofino restaurant (Italian), Cafe Promenade and Jonny Rockets. The Explorer of the seas does not have the Chops steakhouse restaurant.

Which Royal Caribbean ships have you cruised with before????

Our first cruise was on Majesty Of The Seas that was a four day one in 2006, in 2008 we were on The Mariner for a seven day cruise, this time we hope to do a nine day one
sailing from New York to Bermuda, St Thomas,Costa Rico and either St Maarten or Grand Turk depending on which ship we go for. All feedback very much appreciated
