Hey there Alan! Welcome to our friendly cruise community
The cabins right at the front are known to feel more motion than the ones midship or even aft. You will feel the up and down motion more and also might feel the vibration of the waves hitting the hull. However, since you are on the 9th deck you will be higher and probably won't feel the latter as much as the lower decks would.
You will be on a wonderful ship going on a marvelous cruise and many folks before you have had those forward cabins and enjoyed themselves.
Hi,
I,m going on the constellation on the 31st Jan to Carr, I am in cabin 9007 right up the front, could this be rock and rolling?
Welcome to CLF!
Sometimes a bit of motion of the ocean can be FUN! We LOVE forward cabins!

Welcome aboard . Yoy may have a problem if there is a swell. But you are a long way from the engines so it will be quiet. Always look on the bright side
