Hi Bob,

Portugal is a beautiful country for sure.

Lots of Cruise ships spend a port day either in Lisbon or here, in Madeira, specially from September, all the way till May. In November, in Madeira only, we're having 53 cruise ship dockings.

Past Cruises My one and only cruise so far: from Funchal to Vigo, on board Santa Maria, when I was 11 years old.

I'm going to do a land tour of Portugal one of these days, but it doesn't hurt to get a taste of your country by cruise ship too.

Nice to know you'll be close by, Bob.

Which towns are you visiting?

You are far ahead of me but you could suggest some We talked to a server on our last cruise who was from Portugal. He told us that if we go and stop by on a cruise, the city to the right of the port is supposed to be very beautiful. I don't recall the name but at least I know the direction it is. I think it is Portugal in 2010 because I need to do some research first.

Bob, I think he was talking about Lisbon. And I agree, it's a beautiful city, well worth a visit.

But, I must also recommend you consider coming to Funchal, Madeira. Lots and lots of natural beauty all over the island.

Hi,

Just to let you know that the website is coming along fine.
I'm now busy, putting some information about the different places I listed in tour suggestions. And I have a page for cruise ship visitors.

See you.
