Yes, California is very nice and we had a most wonderful time.

And we were lucky we had very good "guides" or, at least, willing "guides".

Do you also go to sopas?

Very nice to see you at CLF. I live in Sweden but spent most of my life in Sacramento California. Maybe you passed through their on your way to Reno or Tahoe.

Funchal is one of my favorite places on earth. Such a beautiful island and such friendly people. My wife, Maria, and I stay at Porto Santa Maria when we are there. Just a short walk to all that wonderful food and wine.

We also stayed in Seixal. We walked there from Sao Vicente. That was quite an experience. I know we will be back to Madeira one day and it will be nice to have a friend there.

Buenos dias Lars,

I see now, you're Norwegian but you're living in Spain.

You must be feeling really happy, as you are going back to your country and all you left behind, very soon.

Dear Lee,

So nice to know Funchal is one of your favorite places, I feel so honoured by that.

Porto Santa Maria is very well placed, as you can walk the entire town from there, not having to worry about transport all the time.

As I can see, you enjoy walking and Madeira is well know for its levadas and pathways. How long did it take you to walk from São Vicente to Seixal? When you come back to Madeira, remember us!

That's right, we passed by Sacramento on our way to Lake Tahoe. We were taken there by a good friend of ours, Manuel Marques, I wonder if you know him, as he is very well positioned in the construction business. He took us to his country house, in the north part of the Lake Tahoe area.

I'm curious now: Are you Swedish or American?
