It might be quit emotional for me, I still really miss seeing the QE2 in Southampton and can't get over the fact I will probally never see her again.

I've been to a talk of Stephen Payne's before here in Colchester where I live.It was in October 2007, about the Queen Victoria. I found it very exciting and he even pointed us out to the audience, saying it's great to see my friend Harry and his parents could join us too.

On April 21st I am going to see Mr Payne again, at a hotel about 40 - 50 miles aways from me. He is given a talk about the QE2. I have known this for sometime but thought I would keep it quiet until now.

Also Mr Payne said that we can go through the work that I've done for the tasks he has set, after he has given the talk. So should be quit an interesting evening.

What an exciting time for you Harry. This is wonderful. So nice that you will get to spend some one on one time too to go over your work. That is fantastic.

Thanks for that link Mary, I'll have to keep my eyes peeled.

I am trying to get one of those reveals sorted for you all.

Only a mini one this time though, beens I have such a busy month ahead. Not saying quit what I am going to reveal just yet though.

Two other things I forgot to tell you all....

Number 1:


While I visited Stephen Payne last Wednesday he also show my parents and me a copy of a book the wrote himself on the S.S Rotterdam. My mum asked where we could get a copy from. Stephen said that they are printed by The Royal Institution Of Naval Architects (RINA). As some of you might have noticed I am a Junior Member of RINA. (On my signature and e-mails ect ect...)


The Chief Executive Mr Trevor Blakeley Ceng FRINA FIMarEST FIMechE has spoke to my mother on the telephone as few times before concerning various different matters. So last Thursday my mum gave him a call and ask if we could possibly have a copy of Stephen's book. He said of course you can I'll send you one out straight away to you and Harry, Mrs Cotterill.


We just received it today, after the disturbance of Easter affect the post/ mail. I am going to have to try and find sometime to read it now and I am going to ask Stephen when I see him on April 21st if he wouldn't mind signing a copy.

The second thing I forgot to say, was that Stephen kindly gave me a poster of the Mauretania, Berengaria and the Aquitania.
