Harry, I was going to see Maasdam in Montreal, but now I am at Nova Scotia! I get to see the ocean...finally! I just discovered this adventure a few days ago, I'm going with my grandma to my relatives cottage.

Will you get nice a close to the ships? What dates are they docked?

My Mum and Dad stayed in a cottage last weekend. It used to be in the family but now it's rented out as a holiday home. Do you know how old your relatives cottage is? The one my parents stayed in was built in 1420!

You have such a bad sunburn! Did you put some white vinegar on it? That will really take the sting out.

Now I have big plans for this month!

My parents and I are going to stay at our friend's in Hampshire on the 18th, 19th and 20th of July. On the 18th we shall be watching Independence of the Seas, Ocean and Grand Princess sail. Then on the 19th we are watching Celebrity Equinox and Crown Princess sail, but I am hoping we can visit Southampton during the day and get some close up shots of the new Celebrity Equinox, I cannot wait to see her.

On the 20th..... well it might be a busy day or not. I know Stephen (Lanky Lad) is sailing on Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria is also berthed in Southampton on this day. I spoke to Stephen a while back and asked if I did a drawing for the captain of the Queen Mary 2, whether he could pass it on to someone on board, who could later give it to the captain. I have heard that Stephen has been having problems with his internet so I hope he will be back on soon and we are able to sort something out.

I might well see if I can visit Mr Payne on the 20th too. I'll have to check first, he will probably be very busy though. I'm also going to ask some of my other contacts within Southampton about visiting them, although I haven't been in contact with them lately.

I shall keep you posted on it all and let you know how I get on with it!

Great picture Harry, but you must have been working from an old picture. I can see the midship's suite with it's long windows, but they added an extra suite (the Aquitania) with more windows.

Hi Harry, I am back, internet was only down for one day

I will be in Mayflower park on the 19th to watch Crown Princess sail, and hopefully I can get some good shots of Equinox as well

. Equinox was due to be in the QEII dock so I hoped I would get to sail past her, but she is now in the city dock (I think) so should see her well from Mayflower park.
