Nice, Harry! It looks like it was a beautiful day...shirt sleeves for part of the time.

No bag pipes for this one...just a 4 piece band?

A very busy week indeed. I had a bit of a break last night, slowly working my way through all the photos you took! What I've seen so far is wonderful, really have caught the reality of a cruise holiday.
Thank you. I'm so glad you are enjoying them. Some day it will be you taking the photos while you are on a cruise and sharing them with us. There is so much to do and see. It literally took us days of exploring to discover what was on the Mariner and even then I am not for certain that we saw it all.

Didn't see Garham so I've still got the drawing, wasn't much going on on the dockside and the ship was late!
    How disappointing for you.

What great photos of the Discovery. There's nothing like seeing the ships so close. My sister saw the Mariner in port (Astoria) a couple of weeks ago and knew it was the ship we cruised on last month. She was amazed at the size. She had been on the Carnival Spirit with us, but the Mariner is so much larger.

It was the hottest day of the year for us so far.
Today is going to be even hotter, thunder storms moving in later this afternoon!

Yep no pipes, mum liked the band better, I didn't.

Discovery wasn't a very big ship at all, we are surpose to be going to Harwich but I've not got out of my room yet. Mum and Dad are having one of those days, so doesn't look like we are going. Never mind!

Harry, I really like the ribbons.

One small problem I think I noticed on your Discovery drawing...... The windows at the very front do not line up as they do on the ship. You have them staggered a bit. (Yes, it takes an engineer who is in to precision to notice something trivial like that)
