Steve, the Assistant Editor said “ Hi Harry,

Many thanks for your email and pictures.
The way we work is that I juggle lots of different stories and then offer the best ones to the Look East producers.
I do think you have a lovely story to tell but I can't promise to tell it at the moment!
Can you leave it with me for a few days and I will get back to you either way.

    Many thanks

    Steve”

    So finger crossed now !

And if you get it on, maybe THEN they can list you as an accredited news person.

    Hey Debbie, thank you !

It's not the same around here with Mary, Reggie and Char away, it's very quiet. I cannot wait until they are back and look forward to hearing about the trips. Mary has promised me lots of photos.

I have had a very busy morning. Called a lot of people, including a few of my important contacts, but they where sadly away and Called Royal Caribbean too, to see if they could help give me the prices I need for the second task Stephen Payne has set. Royal Caribbean themself weren't much help at all.

So I called a local travel agent in my home town, Colchester. The lady I spoke to was very helpful. We had a few problems finding all the prices but the ones we didn't get we just took a rough guess.

Then I asked her if she had a few brochures I needed. She said she will put some aside for me. So when my mum and dad got home I told them I had finally got the prices. My dad then droped me and my mum off in town to go and pick the brochures up. I also show her some of my work and the tasks Stephen has set. She was very impressed.

We have just had a bit of lunch now and are getting ready to leave for Stephen's talk this evening. I'm very excited.

    Hello all !

Just got back around an hour or so ago from Stephen's talk/ lecture about the Queen Elizabeth 2.

We arrived early about 7pm or so, then we where able to have a chat with Stephen before his talk at 7:30pm. The hotel this was at, was fantastic. When we enter there was no sign of Stephen, so we sat down and waited in the reception area. Then with in a matter of minutes Stephen appear the other side of the room and came over to me and my parents straight away. We had a fabulous talk with him and he is always a good laugh too. Got him to sign his book I was sent by RINA. (The S.S Rotterdam one) (Cruise Ship Interest)http://www.cruiselinefans.com/introduce-yourself/38688-cruise-ship-interest-99.html

Also showed him the work I have done that he set for this work experience I am doing at the moment. Was very impressed with the figures I came up with for the analysis of the Oasis of the Seas. Said they look close to what he has got himself. I'm e-mailing him the table I've done this in later so he can have a better look. So that is all good.

As for the second task, working with the part of a G.A. I found that very difficult when I attempted it last night, but now I have asked Stephen a few more question I think I can do a little better now.

Stephen was is also going to send me a table or two so I can do an analysis for the NCL EPIC and Carnival Dream, as I have completed the Oasis one so fast.

Showed him the photos from our visit on the 8th of April, he enjoyed looking at them ! I was introduced to the man who arrange the talk, the President of IMAREST. Well in fact he introduced himself to me, as Stephen had told a lot of the people there about me ! I will soon be know worldwide, well I suppose I already am.

So all round a absolutely brilliant time ! Wonderful !

Bad news we forgot to take the camera but.... I did manage to get a photo with my phone. But it's not a very good photo. Best I could do. Sorry.
