1, the bad news.

Some of you that where hear from the start may remember me talking about trying to visit the Celebrity Equinox in Southampton this July. Surinder Manku (Press Office, UK & Ireland Royal Caribbean International & Celebrity Cruises) has been keeping me up to date via e-mail about the inaugurals planned for the ship.

She said “We are unfortunately unable to accommodate you for a ship visit due to tight security procedures Miami have set in place. The only day visitors permitted to attend are accredited media.” so it doesn't look like I'll be visiting the ship. But she all then added... “However, I will keep you posted on any opportunities to attend a day ship visit during the summer”

2 the good news.

I've just received a invitation in the post/ mail from P&O Cruises. It in a opportunity to visit all their ships, Ventura, Arcadia, Ocean, Oriana and Aurora, all this summer.

WOW ! This is gonna be one great year for me visiting ships already.

I have recived an e-mail back from the Assistant Editor of
BBC Look East , my local news channel.

I am trying my best to get on the show. I informed him all about my interest in cruise ships ect ect ect...

Steve, the Assistant Editor said “ Hi Harry,

Many thanks for your email and pictures.
The way we work is that I juggle lots of different stories and then offer the best ones to the Look East producers.
I do think you have a lovely story to tell but I can't promise to tell it at the moment!
Can you leave it with me for a few days and I will get back to you either way.

but to me you are already a star , i wish you luck with the news people , that will br great to see you on the tv , and take lots pics when you visit all them ships so we can see what you got upto

Yeah I'll let you know as soon as I hear anything from the news. If I do get on I will post the link to the BBC website so you can all watch it.

And I sure will get lots of photos of the ship visits, I'll have to get in as many as I can myself to prove I was there.

Oh yes and some pics of tomorrow with Stephen Payne too.
