    Soon to be a cruiser!

    Hi all. My first cruise coming up in March, Rio to Valpo on HAL. Any tips or insights would be most welcome.

    You are going to like it here at CLF!!

    Even though we have taken quite a few cruises on HAL, we have not done your itinerary. The only South American cruise we have done is from Rio to Ft Lauderdale -- way different.

    There's someone who's on the Mariner of the Seas right now who will be going that way (FLL to LA). And some others who will be leaving soon on a Carnvial ship doing the same itinerary. So hopefully they will be able to answer questions about SA. We're thinking of doing the SA cruise around the Horn, but it probably won't be for three or four years at the earliest.
