my life with large cruise liners

Hi I'm Leah and I'm from cairns, I joined this site because I'm into cruise liners at home I've got a whole folder full of all the large cruise ships around the world. I'm excited about 3 coming out this year and they are Celebrity Solstice that comes out in November, Ruby Princess that comes out in November as well and MSC Fantasia that comes out this December. At the moment I'm disigning my own cruise ship and nearly towards the end of the planing the ships name is Queen of the Seas I want her to be more luxerius then any other cruise ship in the world.she is going to be 600 metres in length, she is going to carry 8,000 passengers, shes goning to have 28 decks ,80 life boats, 4,000 crew, her hight will be 23 metres high, 1 funnel, gross tonnage will be 190,000, 4 rudders, 1 propeller, 6 stabilizers, everything on board that you can ever inmaging, and I'm still finding out how many staetrooms (cabins) it;s going to have. I've been planing this ship for 8 mounths now and I'm glade I'm almost finished. The next thing I need to do now is to save up and thats going to be more harder.I've been on three cruises and they were Pacific Sky ( 2005) Pacific Star (2007) and Pacific Sun (2008) the Pacific Sky and Pacific sun were the best becuase they were more bigger. the Pacific Sun was even more better because I got to go for a bridge visit and towards the end of the bridge visit the Navigator asked me if I would like to have a go at stearing the ship, because he knew straight away that I was into cruise ships. And that was my vary first time of ever stearing a large cruise ship like that. and the other passengers in the bridge didn't get a go I was the only one.Leah

If I don't know the answer I'm fairly certain I can find it.

    Welcome Leah,

    I hope you enjoy CLF

In designing your ship, you should really considering adding a second propeller.
With only one, if there is a problem is becomes very serious.
